We are delighted to launch a new menu of team building activities, a great way to bond the team members.

ICE BREAKERS

  • Two truths & a lie | 15-30 minutes

Each team member secretly writes down two truths about themselves and one lie. Then there are 10-15 minutes for open conversation where everyone tries to convince each other lies are actually a truths.

This game helps to encourage better communication in the office, as well as it lets you get to know your coworkers better.

  • Back-to-back drawing | 15 - 20 minutes

The group is divided into pairs, each pair sits back to back. One person gets picture of a shape or simple image and gives verbal instructions to their partner on how to draw the shape After a set amount of time, each set of partners compare their images and see which team drew the most accurate replica.

This activity helps develop communication skills.

  • The egg drop | 20-30 minutes

Groups of 3 to 5 are given uncooked egg and the office supplies. The task is to build a contraption around the egg that will keep the egg from breaking when dropped. Once time is up, each egg contraption is dropped from a height.

This classic team building game uses teamwork and problem solving to bond team members.

BUILD A RAFT | 30 minutes

Participants are given all of the materials necessary to construct, decorate, and personalize their raft. Organization and the delegating of specific tasks, to the crew members, are very important! Once ready the race starts.

The raft must float, have a mast and boom, and be able to sail carrying several team mates out to the rope/buoys in the creek. Once equipped with buoyancy aids and paddles, safety instructions are given and the race begins. The best bridge will be judged by its stability, glory and creativeness.

This activity is suitable for several groups or a single group of 12 persons or more and is created to help build team work, identify leadership, communication and trust.

LOST AT SEA | 30 minutes

(activity suited to accompany building a raft)

Your location is unclear because vital navigational and radio equipment have been damaged in the fire.

You and your friends have managed to save 15 items, undamaged and intact after the fire. Rank the 15 items in terms of their importance for you, as you wait to be rescued.

This activity is suitable for several groups or a single group of 12 persons or more and is created to help build team work, communication & leadership skills.

BALL SKILLS CHALLENGE | 40 minutes

All team players should nominate 2 different team members to participate for each of the skills events

Football skills: guide a blindfolded teammate to score a goal. No touching!

Volleyball skills: get the highest scores by volleying the ball over the net with just one hit, slap, punch, head or kick.

The Great Balloon Race: run to the finish line with the balloon between your legs. The fastest team wins.

Catch: the team passes the ball to each other in a circle, taking a step back each 20 passes. As the circle grows, whoever drops the ball is out. The team with the highest number of passes wins.

This activity is suitable for several groups or a single group of 12 persons or more and created to help build team work, trust and communication skills and most importantly, to share memorable moments.

SPORTS DAY | 60 minutes

Includes cognitive and physical challenges and tests both individual and team coherence: Egg and Spoon Race, Three legged race, Sack race, Move the match stick, Tug of war, Water bucket carry, Word and numerology puzzles, Sandbag carry, Ball Targets.

This activity is suitable for several groups or a single group of 12 persons or more and created to help build team work, communication and fun.

SCAVENGER HUNT | 30 - 45 minutes

Find the cryptic clues which are hidden in and around the facility. Answer the cryptic clues or perform a physical task answer it correctly and this will then lead the team to the next clue. The quickest team wins!

This problem solving and to a degree leadership activity will enable each team member to contribute with solving the problems or skill tests, some fun and feel like part of a team.

BUILDING A BRIDGE | 60 -120 minutes

All of the team members must participate in the building of the ‘bridge’. Only the equipment provided maybe be used in this project along with one other piece of equipment which the team may found within the grounds of the facility.

This activity will help participants to work as a team and problem solve; it will demonstrate team work, leadership, coordination and trust.

TREASURE ISLAND | 30 minutes

Treasure Island is a great team game, after all who doesn’t like treasure.

You and all of your team must cross a designated area without touching the floor. The only tools you will be given are some boxes and some planks. Only boxes can tough the ground. You must get to the island to pick up the treasure and make your way back to the safety of dry land.

You will have to work speedily as there are obstacles to avoid and only a set amount of time to complete the task.

This game will aid teamwork, communication and ability to work together quickly.
