Ajman Museum
Established first as an 18th century fort, the Ajman Museum houses a staggering collection of artefacts and archeological finds, including centuries old manuscripts, weaponry and pottery. Providing a rare glimpse into traditional Emirati life, explore recreations of ancient wells, irrigation systems, as well as dhow building and pearl trade roots, once the lifeblood of industry in the UAE. The museum also exhibits the finds from an excavated cemetery with pottery and jewelry dating back to 3000 BC.

The Ajman Equestrian Club features over 100 horses, with a range of activities and lessons available. Led by expert trainers, lessons are conducted in a number of languages for complete beginners to advance riders with show jumping techniques and dressage.

Ajman beaches
One of best kept secrets in the UAE, a slice of beautiful coastline can be found at Hamriyah Free Zone, with a desolate and windswept beach, highlighted by vividly blue water and unobstructed views of the Arabian Gulf. For something ‘closer to home’, Fairmont Ajman boasts an equally exquisite beachfront stretching out 200 metres.
