Petra
Jordan's touristic jewel, Petra is a UNESCO World Heritage site and a must-visit with its stunning Nabataean architecture carved within the rocks. Inhabited since prehistoric times, was a crucial crossroads between Arabia, Egypt and Syria and the Levant. The entrance to the siq and to the khazneh are the highlights of any Petra trip, and it is winding canyons create a stunning red backdrop especially in the setting sun.
The ancient site of Petra and its Visitor Center are open to visitors on a daily basis from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM during the summer and 6am to 4pm in the winter. Fees for the accommodated visitor: Visitor who stays at least one night in Jordan.

Jerash
This Roman architectural masterpiece is one of the best preserved cities in the World, and is said to rival many sites. A hour drive north of Amman, stroll through the magnificent colonnades and arches, spacious stone plazas, and outstanding amphitheaters and cathedrals. Some key areas of interest include Hadrian’s Arch, Hippodrome, Oval Plaza, and Jordan Archaeological Museum.

Wadi Rum Protected Area
The setting of Hollywood movie, Martian, and the classic Lawrence of Arabia, Wadi Rum has inspired countless people for generations. Its moonlike landscape of Wadi Rum is dotted with massive mountains, colored in shades of red, yellow, and orange. Dead Sea

Ajloun Castle
Within the northern highlands, within lush forests, stands the Ajloun Castle. Ajloun Castle was the base of the Arab forces of Saladin, when he defeated the Crusaders in the 12th century. Today, the interiors of the castles are full of rambling corridors and staircases, and labyrinth mazes and stone-rooms.

Mujib Biosphere Reserve
At 410 meters below sea level near the Dead Sea, the Mujib Nature Reserve features rugged canyon interspersed with spectacular rock formations and are dissected by several river-filled canyons that offer the best river and adventure hikes in Jordan. Mujib’s complex river system and all-year water flow enable it to support a rich biodiversity.

Madaba
Known sometimes as the city of a thousand mosaic, this ancient trading hub is a key part of the Jordanian tourist map. Best known for its spectacular Byzantine and Umayyad mosaics, Madaba is home to the famous 6th century Mosaic Map of Jerusalem and the Holy Land. With two million pieces of vividly colored local stone, it depicts hills and valleys, villages and towns as far as the Nile Delta. The Madaba Mosaic Map covers the floor of the Greek Orthodox Church of St. George, and other mosaic masterpieces found in the Church of the Virgin and the Apostles and in the Archaeological Museum depict a rampant profusion of flowers and plants, birds and fish, animals and exotic beasts.
