Renowned for its panoramic beauty, The Fairmont Banff Springs Golf Course is a captivating and challenging layout set in the heart of Canada's Rocky Mountains. From the actual design to the optical illusions created by the surrounding mountains, this course will both delight and test you. Stanley Thompson, Canada's master golf course architect, used his expert talent when he designed the original 18 holes in 1928. The course winds along the Bow River under the snow-capped peaks of Sulphur Mountain and Mount Rundle. In 1989, 9 holes were added, resulting in 27 holes of championship layout. A golf academy and practice facility will assist you in sharpening your game before your day on the links. Club and shoe rentals are also available. It is a good idea to book a tee time at least a week before with either the golf course or Concierge team. Please note that this golf course is located 30 minutes away from The Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise in the town of Banff. Advance reservations are recommended please contact our Concierge for more information at (403) 522-1601; please note the 48- hour cancellation policy in effect.
