Visit Lausanne and The Olympic Museum - All year round
You will drive along the lake into Lausanne, where you will visit the “Cité”, or old town, dominated by the magnificent 13th century Gothic Cathedral. The “Ancien-Evêché” (Old Bishopric) and Château Saint-Maire are two other vestiges of Lausanne’s Episcopal past. The charm of the old districts is successfully combined with the modern facilities provided for Lausanne’s visitors. After the bustle of the centre of town, you will love the beauty and calm of the lakeshore and the district of Ouchy.

Caillers Chocolate Factory - All year round
Chocolate: Where does it come from? What are the best-tasting chocolates in the world? Find the answers to theses questions and many others by participating in this activity at the Caillers factory in Broc. Taste all kinds and types of chocolate and enjoy learning the right tasting techniques and skills that will allow you to truly savor gourmet chocolates and appreciate their distinctive personalities from a professional. The factory is accessible by train and is Open from Monday to Friday- 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Available April through to the end of October.

Vineyard Tour - All year round
Montreux is surrounded not only by high mountains but also by vineyards, which are a very important part of the local economy. Set out for a drive at the “Corniche” - the steep and narrow roads will lead you through the villages and past large stone houses where the growers live and press their grapes for wine. Enjoy a glass or two, or even three, of the newly pressed wine in one of the village cellars, ideally served with a slice of country bread and cheese.

Montreux Jazz Festival - July
The Montreux Jazz Festival is one of the most prestigious music festivals in the world. Every year in early July the streets of Montreux are invaded with joy, music and of course with the best-known singers and musicians of the world.

Foire des Planches - October
Each year, in the last week of October, the old town vibrates with young people participating in “Foire des Planches!” It is one of the most typical Montreux events that dates back more than 200 years. The origin of this event was a market to buy and sell cattle and other livestock. Today, the Society of development of the Montreux Old Town (SDVVM) organizes various animations, with handicraft and old cellars animated until far in the night... An event not to be missed! Friday at 6:00 p.m. and closing Sunday at 6:00 p.m. (Last week-end of October).

Montreux Christmas Market - November/December
Every year a Christmas market comes to Montreux with plenty of magic, colours and lights. The craftspeople ply their trades. The merchants decorate their stands and display a thousand and one tempting things to delight the shoppers. From 24 November and until 24 December, all the children will have the privilege to visit Santa Claus at the Roches de Naye, and discover the wonderful world and atmosphere of his toy factory. Sunday to Thursday 11:00 a.m.- 8:00 p.m. (+1h food & drinks) / Friday to Saturday 11:00 a.m.- 10:00 p.m. (+2h food & drinks).
