Chill Out This Summer... Fairmont Style

- Beating the Summer Heat with Fairmont -

This summer, Fairmont Hotels & Resorts introduces Chillin' with Fairmont, a company-wide promotion celebrating the flavors of summer. At the bar, guests can sample six summer cocktails, while at home entertaining tips from Fairmont experts make poolside planning a breeze.

May 31 st, 2006, will herald Chillin's launch.

Whether it's lounging around the recently renovated bungalows at Santa Monica's Fairmont Miramar, basking on The Fairmont Orchid, Hawaii's sun-soaked beach or breathing in the invigorating Canadian Rocky mountain air on a patio at The Fairmont Banff Springs, the new cocktails provide a great reason for travelers to "chill out" this summer, on the road and at home.

Fairmont teamed up with Moët Hennessy USA, a worldwide authority on spirits, and 10 Cane, a new luxury rum from Trinidad, to create six fantastic cocktails. They include Berry Me in The Sand, Blue Thai Mojito, Sunset Sparkltini, Hang 10!, Pom Beach Sidecar and Mist on the Rocks (see below for full drink recipes). Complimenting the drinks are a series of summer entertaining tips from the pros at Fairmont guaranteed to make any guests' next summer outing a sure fire hit.

To ensure the summer is one to remember cocktail connoisseurs can also travel to cyberspace and visit, an online resource that will provide additional summer ideas and recipes.

1 egg white
