 SAN DIEGO, CA – April 17, 2017 – Christof Luedi, Regional Vice President Hawai`i and General Manager Fairmont Grand Del Mar, proudly announces the appointment of Erin Proud as Director of Food and Beverage.  

“We are delighted to welcome Erin to San Diego and to have her back within the Fairmont Hotels & Resorts family,” said Luedi. “I am confident to have her at the helm of our food and beverage team. I look forward to seeing her further elevate the dining experiences of our Forbes Triple Five Star, AAA Double Five Diamond resort.”

Ms. Proud joins Fairmont Grand Del Mar from her most recent position as Director of Operations at the Singapore Marriott Tang Plaza Hotel where she oversaw all aspects of daily operations with a specific focus on food and beverage. Prior to that role, she enjoyed a long tenure within the Fairmont and Raffles family, first serving as Director of Event Operations followed by Assistant Director of Food and Beverage at The Savoy in London, a Fairmont-managed property, and then as Director of Food and Beverage at Raffles Beijing. Ms. Proud began her hospitality career in various food and beverage roles in her native Australia. She holds a Bachelor of Business in hotel management from Griffith University.
